我从来不懂革命是这么可怕的事情。

爱国的行为表现被批评扭曲、爱国和不爱国、煽动挑破，都只是一线之差。

愚弄人民自以为高高在上的达官、这是你们在玩的一场政治游戏。

二次世界大戰以後，德國牧師馬丁．尼莫拉（MartinNiemoller）為了讓世人記住納粹屠殺猶太人這一血腥恥辱，在波士頓樹起了一塊紀念碑，碑上銘刻這樣一段話：

起初他們（德國納粹黨）追殺共產主義者，
我不是共產主義者，我不說話；

接著他們追殺猶太人，
我不是猶太人，我不說話；

後來他們追殺工會成員，
我不是工會成員，我繼續不說話；

此後他們追殺天主教徒，
我不是天主教徒，我還是不說話；

最後，他們奔向我來，
再也沒有人站起來為我說話了。

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I did not speak out
because I was not a communist.

When they came for the social democrats,

When they came for the trade unionists
I did not speak out
